Professional information

Ross graduated from the University of Glasgow and joined the team at Dentistry on the Clyde in 2019.

He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry but has a particular interest in minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry. He has a special passion for cosmetic tooth alignment with invisible braces and composite bonding smile makeovers. 

Ross continually develops his skills in these areas through further studies. He enjoys building strong relationships with his patients in a friendly environment and loves helping people achieve the ability to smile with confidence.

Ross was really kind and took the time to explain everything every step of the way. Outwith dentistry, Ross recently got engaged and enjoys spending quality time with his fiancé Jessica. They have recently purchased their first house together and are enjoying doing some minor renovations and interior design work to make it their own. They love spending lots of time with friends and family, looking after their adorable niece and nephew, eating out, watching films and attempting to climb the occasional Munro.

Personally, Ross loves playing and watching golf. He is very much the definition of a good weather golfer and seems to always have a questionably high handicap. He also enjoys the gym, tennis, badminton and the occasional ski holiday. With other free time, Ross can be heard talking about whisky. He regularly enjoys trying different whiskies, visiting distilleries around Scotland and meeting up with friends as part of a whisky club.

This was an emergency appointment as my bridge had come loose. I wasn't able to see my usual dentist but the dentist and nurse who looked after me were super. Removed the old bridge, cleaned it, and refitted it; all painless and really seemed to take a lot of care with the operation. Shout out also for the reception staff who are always really friendly and helpful.

What can I say that hasn’t already been said? DOTC amazing staff whom are very welcoming. Morven McCauley was assigned to me as I had a mixture of dental issues. I had lost all confidence in dentists and had major anxiety. During my initial consultation Morven put me at ease and over the next 4 months, not only had she built up my trust and confidence, she also became a miracle worker and gave me back my smile and self confidence. I was dubious about their promise of pain free dentistry but, I can honestly say that the major dental treatment I had over months of visits, it was completely pain free. I highly recommend DOTC you won’t be disappointed. 😊

Was seen promptly today at Dentistry on the Clyde. The dentist was very polite & listened to everything I had to say. He did his best to fix the problem I have with new dentures. He advised me to only wear when eating, keep them out all other times, as gums are sore, this will give gums time to heal.If still having problems, come back & he would his best to sort them.

I was feeling very nervous before my appointment as I've never had root canal treatment before ...Morven and her assistant Yvonne made it completely painless and when it was done I wondered what I was soo worried about..(think it's an age thing) 🤔 .I've had a lot of treatment including implants ..the service is brilliant from the receptionist to the hygienist to Morven and Yvonne .I would highly recommend !!!!!!

My over all experience here was a pleasant one. Andrew the dentist was an absolute diamond. He made me feel at ease and listened to me and what I had been through with previous dentist. He could see i was anxious and shaking with fear. But with a calming manner he made me feel at ease. He explained everything what he was going to do and was honest with me and told me what was wrong with my mouth and how it could be sorted. Donna the dental nurse was also amazing, she very professional and was such a lovely person to talk to. Andrew, went above and behond to try and get me the help I needed as I was needing to see a specific orthodontist surgeon to treat my problem. When I phoned the practice firstly, I was greeted my Sarah and she was amazing at her job. All the members who i have mentioned are amazing and are a credit to your practice.

I phoned this morning at 9.00 and was given an appointment with Ross at 09.30.I had never met Ross before. I found him friendly, reassuring and very confident that he could address my problem.He was happy to explain his findings and plan of action.There was no hurry, and at the end of the procedure he was happy to answer any questions.I am on the dental plan and i have alwaysbeen given an appointment within a very short space of time if i experience any difficulties.I also like the fact that you are recognised as a patient at this clinic. My appointment for a filling, due to receding gums wasn't due until June. But, the nerve pain I was experiencing was incredible, and I can take alot of pain. This was on a different level. I couldn't eat properly nor brush my teeth without the pain radiating all through my mouth and jaws. However, I phoned on the Friday and got an appointment on the Saturday. Morven and her assistant were fantastic. I got a white filling, filling in an area the receding gum. It was pain-free. Absolutely brilliant. Now I can eat without pain, and most importantly, brush my teeth!

I have to be brutally honest. I have one major regret with Dr Morven McCauley and Dentistry on the Clyde. My regret is that I didn’t I bite the bullet sooner and just go ahead and pay the price and solve my teething problems. Morven’s implants have changed my life. Thankfully I was very fortunate to be referred to Dentistry on the Clyde.There I met with my wonderful Smile Advisor, Chloe who explored my options with me.Subsequently I met with Dr Morven McCauley who specialises in implantology. Instinctively I felt a very reassuring confidence from Morven, I was very sure I was now in the presence of dentistry excellence. Certainly I was not mistaken and thanks to Morven and her team I now have a wonderful new ceramic upper arch fitted onto six implants.All the staff I met at the practice were brilliant, Smile advisor, Chloe, Dental Nurse, Yvonne, Hygienist, Thurga and all the reception staff.Of course, leading this great team is the very wonderful Dr Morven McCauley, whom in my humble opinion is simply the very best dentist I have ever met, I truly believe she is a real ‘Superstar’ in the world of dentistry. Dentistry on the Clyde has been a life changer.Originally apprehensive about booking an appointment due negative experiences in the past with my previous dentist, I was quickly put at ease with my dentist, Jack.Jack has been excellent throughout my appointments. He communicated clearly and was very understanding throughout. My hygienist, Thurga, was also excellent - again giving me tips on how I can better look after my teeth.Throughout my time with DOTC, my appointments were scheduled well in advanced and I was able to work my appointments around my career.
