Nial graduated from the University Of Glasgow with commendation in 2011 and has continued to develop his skills in order to become a highly skilled cosmetic dentist.
He has a particular interest in root canal treatment and has undertaken extensive training in this field and was awarded an MSc with the University of Chester in 2017 following 3 years of post graduate training. As a result, he is often referred complex root canal treatment cases from other dentists. Nial is also involved in training other dentists in how to provide more effective root canal treatments to their patients.
A large part of Nial’s workload is focused more on cosmetic and functional dentistry. He has undergone training in aligners, composite bonding, gum surgery, veneers and full mouth rehabilitation in order to help patients achieve the best possible outcomes that they can.
He enjoys building strong relationships with his patients in a friendly, relaxed environment and seeing the changes that can happen to people in terms of their confidence and outlook, as they go through their treatment.

Out of the practice, life for Nial is a bit ‘cliche’ in that like most people he enjoys nothing more than spending time with friends and family. He loves travelling and has visited over 30 countries so far.
He lives with his long term partner, Kirsten, and at the moment they seem to spend most of their spare time on ways to improve their new home.
Football is his main passion and he loves watching his favourite team, and once a week he still plays – albeit 5 a sides is his level now. He also tries to keep fit through visiting the gym, cycling and yoga.
